Processes of economic transformations in the countries of Northeast Asia (NEA) in the second half of the 1990s and the beginning of 21st century are described. The experience of economic transformations is generalized, models of market reforms in NEA countries are analyzed. The trends in institutional transformations in macroeconomic policy, as well as the policy of monetary and financial and foreign trade regulation are studied. The key tendencies of investment movement in NEA and methods of promoting attraction of foreign capital are considered.
