            The book contains reports by scientists, representatives of the authorities, Russian corporate sector and APR countries, which have been made under the project of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation to study the problems of international economic cooperation of the Russian Far East with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. The following issues have been studied: economic and institutional reforms and changes, foreign economic relations, economic policy and integration processes, energy security, problems of environmental management for sustainable development.

            The book is designed for a wide range of Russian and foreign politicians and businessmen, research workers, post-graduate students, workers of state administration bodies.
